Use Piece by Piece responsibly
These practical conditions describe the current product and the behaviour expected from its users. They are not final legal terms until the site owner supplies and approves the missing business details below.
Purpose of the service
Piece by Piece is a planning assistant for ESL teachers in Grades 1–6. It helps users browse activities, prepare lessons, save classroom planning information and share selected lessons. It does not replace a teacher’s professional judgement, safeguarding duties or school policies.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your password and recovery code private, and use only accounts you are authorised to access. You are responsible for activity completed through your account until you sign out or end its sessions. Accounts should not be created for children or used to store identifying student information.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, harm others, infringe rights, probe or bypass security, disrupt the service, automate abusive traffic, or upload malicious or confidential material. Shared links must not be used to publish personal student data or content you do not have permission to share.
AI-assisted material
AI suggestions may be incomplete, unsuitable or incorrect. Review every generated lesson, summary, adaptation and assistant response before using it. You remain responsible for checking age suitability, factual accuracy, accessibility, safeguarding and alignment with your curriculum.
Your material and sharing
You remain responsible for the lesson details, class profiles and personal activities you enter. Only share material you are permitted to use. Anyone with an active lesson link can view its contents, so revoke links that are no longer needed and keep confidential information out of shared lessons.
Piece by Piece provides independently created educational activities based on common primary-language learning goals. It is not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by any textbook publisher.
Availability and price
The current site is free to use and does not request payment details. Features may be corrected, changed or temporarily unavailable as the product develops. Any future paid service would require clear pricing and separate payment information before charges are introduced.
